Role: Fire Alarm Project Engineer

Location: London

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum + Car or Car Allowance

Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire Alarm Project Manager to oversee the delivery of major construction projects across London. This role offers the chance to work on high-value projects, leading teams and ensuring delivery to the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of fire alarm projects from planning and design to installation, commissioning, and handover
  • Coordinate and supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with BS5839 and industry regulations
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to achieve project objectives
  • Oversee budgets, costs, and schedules, taking proactive steps to mitigate risks or delays
  • Promote a strong health & safety culture across all site operations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and subcontractors
  • Attend weekly meetings in the West London office to provide updates, reports, and forecasts

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven track record in managing fire alarm installation projects (construction sector experience desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of BS5839 and relevant fire detection standards
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with client-facing experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
