Role: Fire Project Manager
Location: London
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Car / Allowance

Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager looking to join a forward-thinking and expanding organisation within the technical services sector? This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of projects from design through to completion, ensuring delivery to the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage fire alarm installation projects across London from concept to handover.

  • Attend client sites to conduct surveys, assess design requirements, and plan work.

  • Coordinate and oversee sub-contractors, operations managers, and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing for materials and services.

  • Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and manage project costs through the ERP system.

  • Monitor project progress to ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

  • Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates and technical support where needed.

  • Support health, safety, and quality assurance processes, including audits, equipment calibration, and compliance documentation.

  • Promote company values through professionalism, teamwork, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience managing fire alarm or similar technical projects.

  • Excellent understanding of BS 5839 fire detection and alarm system standards.

  • FIA Units 1, 3, and 5 (or equivalent qualification).

  • Strong commercial awareness with experience in supplier negotiation and procurement.

  • Competent in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer relationship skills.
