Job Title: Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance Engineer
Location: South West London
Rate: £230 p/day + mileage + expenses
Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer seeking a new role? You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on a variety of fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service and maintain a wide variety of fire alarm systems.
- Carry out reactive maintenance and fault-finding on fire alarm panels and devices.
- Complete routine testing, inspections, and planned preventative maintenance.
- Provide detailed reports and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company on client sites.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
Experience required:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Fire Alarm servicing and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of leading fire alarm systems such as Advanced, Kentec, Gent, Morley, or C-Tec.
- Experience working to BS 5839 standards.
- FIA training or manufacturer training.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
