Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you an experienced Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Engineer looking for contract work across London? As a Fire Alarm / Emergency Lighting Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, minor works and maintenance across fire alarm, emergency lighting and fire extinguisher systems within commercial environments.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
- Working on systems including Advanced, Kentec, C-TEC and Morley
- Carrying out minor works such as replacing detectors and manual call points
- Completing routine testing and fault-finding
- Working across sites within London and the M25 region
- Completing daily paper dockets for timesheet approval
Experience required:
- Experience working on fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
- Familiarity with Advanced, Kentec, C-TEC and Morley systems
- Ability to carry out minor works and component replacements
- Good understanding of fire safety maintenance procedures
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Valid DBS check
- Own hand tools and power tools
- Fire alarm test equipment
- Steps/ladders
