Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: Kent
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire Alarm Service Engineer based in Kent? As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be expected to carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and fault finding across fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency lighting. You will be working for a trusted contractor delivering safety-critical works across care homes and commercial sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Routine servicing and fault finding on fire alarms, emergency lighting, and extinguishers
- Carrying out 3-hour emergency light testing
- Working across a mixture of care homes and commercial premises
- Servicing a range of industry-standard fire alarm panels
Experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar service role
- Competence across fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency lighting
- Ability to carry out fault diagnosis and emergency light testing
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS (beneficial)
- Hand tools and power tools
- Fire test equipment
