Role: Fire Alarm Small Works Engineer
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Small Works Engineer. The role involves the installation, commissioning, and modification of fire detection systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently on minor projects and system upgrades.
Responsibilities:

Carry out small works installations, system modifications, and panel upgrades.

Commission and hand over Fire Alarm systems in accordance with BS5839-1.

Conduct fault-finding, testing, and remedial works as required.

Liaise with clients and site contacts to ensure smooth project delivery.

Complete all relevant documentation, certificates, and as-fitted drawings.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company standards.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience working on Fire Alarm systems.

Strong understanding of BS5839-1 and fire safety regulations.

Experience in carrying out small installation projects and remedial works.

Good communication and organisational skills.
