Fire & Security Engineer
London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent & Sussex
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
Package:
* £35,000 – £45,000 basic salary
* Company van provided
* 37.5-hour working week – 8:30am–4:00pm
* 5% bonus on quoted works (up to £5,000 per quote)
* 1-in-4 on-call rota – £20 per day
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days
* Weekly pay
* Travel paid after the first 30 minutes each way
* Strong in-house and external training opportunities
Our client is an established Fire & Security business delivering specialist engineering services across a varied portfolio of commercial and highly secure environments. With a strong focus on technical development, employee progression and quality of service, the business offers engineers the opportunity to develop their skills while working across some interesting and diverse sites.
Role Overview
Due to continued requirements across the region, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join the engineering team.
The role will involve:
* Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on a range of Fire & Security systems.
* Carrying out repairs and remedial works across commercial sites.
* Working across a varied portfolio, including prisons, hospitals, airports and other secure environments.
* Covering predominantly London and the M25, with some travel across Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent and Sussex.
* Delivering a high standard of technical work and customer service.
Requirements
* Previous experience within the Fire & Security industry.
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
* Ability to pass BS7858 screening.
* Ability to obtain EL1 security clearance.
