Role: Fire and Security General Manager

Location: North West

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Bonus

Technical Resources are seeking a strong Fire and Security General Manager based in the North West. You’ll have a hands-on role in shaping business performance while overseeing multiple departments and delivering commercial growth. You will be working for a well-established and growing fire and security group that delivers end-to-end solutions — from system design and installation through to ongoing maintenance — via a network of specialist brands and highly trained engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily business operations, ensuring smooth delivery across all departments
  • Oversee all projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Monitor Service Level Agreements and compliance against regulations
  • Drive the business forward by motivating teams and aligning resources to strategic goals
  • Manage and develop senior staff and direct reports
  • Provide regular performance insights and improvement plans to the Managing Director
  • Identify process efficiency’s and implement business improvements

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Fire & Security industry
  • Proven track record in a General Manager or senior leadership role
  • Strong commercial, operational, and financial acumen
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership and business improvement
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
