Role: Fire and Security Senior Engineer
Location: London
Salary: Up to £60,000 basic + Car or Car Allowance + Bonus
Are you an experienced Fire and Security Senior Engineer looking to take the lead on complex system delivery? As a Fire and Security Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading installations, commissioning, and maintenance of integrated fire and security systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. You will act as a technical lead on site, supporting engineers and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead installation, commissioning, and servicing of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems.
- Act as the main technical point of contact for engineers and clients on site.
- Carry out system testing, fault-finding, and configuration.
- Provide mentoring and on-site training for junior engineers.
- Oversee compliance with relevant standards, including BS5839 and NSI/BAFE requirements.
- Support project management teams with technical input during project delivery and handover.
- Complete all documentation and reports accurately and on time.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within Fire and Security system installation and maintenance.
- ECS/CSCS Card (Essential).
- FIA Units 1–5 or equivalent qualifications.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
