Role: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to carry out service, maintenance, and fault-finding on Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites. This is a field-based role requiring strong technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:

Service, maintain, and repair Fire and Security systems to relevant standards.

Respond to reactive callouts and carry out preventative maintenance.

Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.

Complete all job reports and documentation accurately.

Provide technical support and advice to clients on system performance and upgrades.

Ensure all work complies with BS5839, NSI, and health & safety regulations.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Fire and Security servicing.

Strong technical knowledge across Fire Alarms (e.g. Advanced, Kentec, Morley), Intruder (e.g. Galaxy, Texecom), CCTV (e.g. Hikvision, Avigilon), and Access Control (e.g. Paxton).

Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.

Ability to work independently with good communication and organisational skills.
