Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Essex
Rate: £230 p/day + mileage + expenses
Are you an experienced Fire and Security Engineer looking to join a company that values technical excellence and professional growth? You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and fault-finding of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service, maintain, and fault-find on Fire and Security systems.
- Complete planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and system testing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (BS 5839, BS EN 50131).
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company on site.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
Experience required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in servicing Fire and Security systems.
- Experience with systems such as Advanced, Kentec, Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, and Hikvision.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS Card.
- FIA or manufacturer-specific training.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
