Job Title: Fire and Security Small Works Engineer
Location: North West London
Rate: £32,000 to £40,000 + 20 days Holiday + Company Car
We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented candidate, focusing on delivering top-tier security solutions. This role is perfect for someone who not only has a knack for technical excellence but also embodies the company’s values in every aspect of their work.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful completion of small works projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to the clients’ high standards.
- Travel regularly across the North and Midlands to manage and execute project responsibilities effectively.
- Maintain exemplary professional conduct, serving as a positive ambassador for the company.
- Commit to providing outstanding customer service, setting a high standard within the industry.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Demonstrated experience in new installations and remedial works for security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms.
- A strong safety orientation, aiming to prevent any injury, property damage, or material loss.
- Exceptional teamwork and time management skills, with the ability to independently prioritise tasks.
- Prior customer service experience, with a firm grasp of creating accurate, job-specific documentation in alignment with company and client guidelines.
- Capability to conduct thorough on-site surveys as required.
- Beneficial: Background in installing and commissioning Life Safety systems (e.g., fire alarms, disabled alarms and refuge, emergency lighting), though not mandatory.
- A clean driving licence is essential.
- High motivation levels and the physical ability to handle manual tasks including lifting and ladder work.
