Role:Fire & Security Service Engineer
Location: Luton
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum

As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of a wide range of fire and security systems. This is a field-based role where your technical knowledge, attention to detail, and customer service skills will be key to delivering safe, compliant, and reliable solutions across your region.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on Fire & Security systems within your designated area

  • Respond to emergency call-outs promptly and effectively

  • Plan and manage your workload to meet client SLAs and expectations

  • Maintain clear, professional communication with clients during all site visits

  • Manage your van stock and replenish as needed with internal support

  • Attend internal training sessions and engineering team meetings

  • Proactively identify areas for personal and technical development

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Strong technical background in the electrical or electronic engineering sector

  • Hands-on experience with Fire & Security systems (multi-discipline preferred)

  • Field-based or customer-facing experience (advantageous)

  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities

  • Clear, professional communication skills

  • A reliable, presentable, and positive approach to your work

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
