Security Service Engineer – Integrated Systems

Location: East Midlands
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £38,000.00 basic plus, OT, Standby, Travel time.

Our client is a respected provider of security services in the UK. They are looking for an experienced Security Service Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity to advance your career by working on large-scale systems for high-end clients.

Position Overview

As a Security Service Engineer, you will be a key member of the service team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, fault-finding, and small works. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of key client sites across your designated area, contributing directly to the company’s high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on security systems.

  • Carry out fault-finding and small works projects.

  • Commission CCTV, IDS, and Access Control systems.

  • Maintain van stock to ensure first-time fixes.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and the service team.

  • Complete all work to high standards and within SLAs.

  • Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the security industry.

  • Experience with large-scale, networked CCTV, IDS, and Access Control systems.

  • Proven ability to fault-find accurately and efficiently.

  • Excellent customer service skills for client-facing work.

  • Proficient with laptops, smartphones, and MS Office.

  • A full UK driving license is essential.
