Role: Install Director
Location: National Travel
Salary: £80,000 to £100,000 per annum
Are you looking for an Install Director position working across the UK with national travel? As an Install Director, you will lead and develop Electrical and Mechanical installation departments, ensuring operational excellence, strong commercial performance, and continued growth. You will be working for a leading UK fire safety company delivering large-scale installation projects nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and grow the Electrical and Mechanical departments, managing senior leaders across both disciplines
- Take ownership of a £15m+ P&L, ensuring strong commercial and operational performance
- Set and manage departmental budgets aligned with wider company growth objectives
- Attend and present at monthly board meetings, reporting on strategy, performance, and targets
- Drive the strategic development of both departments, identifying opportunities for efficiency and new business growth
- Travel to support teams across the Midlands and South offices, including overnight stays when required
- Maintain high technical, safety, and quality standards across all project delivery operations
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development across installation teams
Experience and Certifications Required:
- A minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in a senior installation, operations, or director-level role
- Strong strategic awareness with a proven track record of delivering commercial growth
- Solid technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience managing budgets, P&L responsibility, and operational leadership
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience delivering large-scale installation projects across multiple sites
- Demonstrated success in growing departments or driving business expansion
