Role: Security Installation Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Security Installation Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites.
Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, and commission Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems.

Read and interpret system drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Ensure all installations comply with NSI, BS, and manufacturer standards.

Work closely with project managers and clients to deliver installations on time and to specification.

Complete system documentation, handover certificates, and site reports.

Troubleshoot and rectify installation and commissioning issues.

Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience in installing and commissioning security systems.

Strong working knowledge of Intruder (e.g. Galaxy, Texecom), CCTV (e.g. Hikvision, Avigilon), and Access Control (e.g. Paxton, Lenel).

Good understanding of IP-based CCTV and networking.

Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and client-facing skills.
