Role: Security Installation Engineer
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Security Installation Engineer. The role involves installing, commissioning, and maintaining Intruder Alarm, CCTV, and Access Control systems across commercial and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, reliable, and customer-focused.
Responsibilities:

Install and commission Security systems (Intruder, CCTV, Access Control).

Read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.

Carry out system testing, fault-finding, and handover to clients.

Ensure all installations meet NSI and industry standards.

Work independently or as part of a team to deliver projects on time.

Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience installing Security systems (minimum 3 years preferred).

Strong knowledge of systems such as Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision, Avigilon, Paxton, or similar.

Excellent technical, fault-finding, and problem-solving abilities.

Good communication skills and professional approach.
