Role: Security Small Works Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Security Small Works Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering small installation, upgrade, and remedial projects across CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems, ensuring high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:

Carry out small works installations, upgrades, and modifications to security systems.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues on site.

Ensure all work complies with NSI, BS, and client-specific standards.

Complete relevant documentation and as-fitted drawings.

Work closely with project and service teams to deliver smooth project handovers.

Maintain excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience working with CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.

Strong technical knowledge of security systems (e.g., Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Hikvision).

ECS/CSCS card.
-
IPAF and PASMA certification.
-
Full UK driving licence.

Excellent communication, organisational, and fault-finding skills.
