Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Location: Hybrid (Office based in Preston, with remote work flexibility)
Territory: Northwest England
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 Basic
Commission: Quarterly, based on a percentage of gross profit (from both existing and new clients)

About the Role:
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts across the public sector, utilities and commercial markets throughout Northwest England. This is a pivotal role within the business, taking ownership of a number of existing high-value accounts and acting as the primary point of contact for long-term client relationships.
Alongside account management, the role carries a strong new business remit, requiring the ability to identify, develop and secure new client opportunities, both within existing accounts and across new prospects in the region.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of existing key accounts, predominantly within the public sector, utilities, and commercial industries.

Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and contribute to company growth.

Understand client needs and effectively position our solutions, particularly those built on the Genetec platform.

Collaborate internally with technical and support teams to ensure seamless client service and solution delivery.

Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets and gross profit objectives.

Provide regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and market trends.
Required Skills and Experience:

Demonstrable experience within the enterprise end of the industry is highly advantageous.

Essential knowledge of the Genetec platform or a similar enterprise-level security/technology solution.

Experience managing accounts within the public sector, utilities, and/or commercial markets is crucial.

A strong background in new business development with the ability to generate and close new opportunities.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
