Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Durham
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 (DOE) + £5,000 car allowance + benefits
Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Durham? Are you looking to work on high-value infrastructure and utilities projects across the UK? Technical Resources are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of complex infrastructure projects ranging from £100k to £7m in value.
Responsibilities:

Manage commercial elements of projects under NEC and JCT contracts

Submit monthly CVRs and interim valuations

Oversee procurement and payment of subcontractors, plant, and materials

Monitor and forecast project cash flow

Attend and lead client progress meetings and internal reviews

Manage variations, claims and final account agreements

Prepare payment notices and contractual submissions

Build strong relationships with clients, supply chain and internal teams
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience as a QS or Senior QS in utilities or civil engineering

Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

Excellent knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract

Commercially astute with strong negotiation and financial reporting skills

Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
