Role: Service Manager Fire & Security Division
Location: Surrey
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Service Manager looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Fire & Security Service Manager to lead a team of engineers, oversee service delivery, and drive operational excellence across planned maintenance and reactive service works.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Fire & Security Service Department, including scheduling, engineer coordination, and reactive callouts.
  • Manage and support a team of service engineers, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Ensure planned maintenance visits are completed within SLA and contract deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the Contract Management Team to align service schedules with project delivery.
  • Maximise engineer utilisation by balancing reactive and preventative workloads.
  • Identify and schedule additional maintenance or small works to increase weekly productivity.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience managing service or maintenance operations within the Fire & Security industry.
  • Strong understanding of fire alarm and security systems, including servicing, fault-finding, and maintenance processes.
  • Experience coordinating engineering teams and managing workloads effectively.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering service contracts to SLA standards.
  • Excellent understanding of health & safety procedures and compliance requirements
  • SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
  • ECS/CSCS Supervisor Card.
  • FIA or manufacturer-specific Fire Alarm training (advantageous).
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (preferred).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
