Retail Decisions, the supplier of payment card fraud prevention and value added transaction services, has gained the business of video giant Blockbuster UK. Blockbuster Entertainment has now moved into a new venture of unattended vending machines where members may choose from any number of current titles and pay using a credit or debit card, 24 hours a day. After a successful trial of Retail Decisions card fraud screening services, the system is now being rolled out to all 81 remote vending sites, which offers a solution in managing the risks such as non-return and fraud incurred. Blockbuster is now able to eliminate its bad customers and reward those that are loyal. Martin Jordan, UK vending manager of Blockbuster UK said: ?Vending machines now allow our customers even greater flexibility in choosing what entertainment they want, at a time to suit them. Having an unattended operation has improved the service we offer, but it also carries an element of payment risk.
