Charity Golf

by msecadm4921

The intruder alarm manufacturers Cooper Security are hosting charity golf events across the UK in aid of Help For Heroes.

Cooper Security, maker of Scantronic and Menvier alarms will be host at Nottingham, Romford, Yorkshire and Monmouthshire during the summer.

Having already run golf events for installers at Long Ashton Golf Club in Bristol and Dalmahoy Golf Club, Edinburgh, Cooper reports that it’s keen to make each of these events worthwhile for this charity by enabling players to make a donation at their discretion. Cooper Security’s Product Marketing Manager, Neil Garland said, “Through the generosity of our customers, the two events so far have already contributed to this great cause.”

Guests will enjoy a round of golf courtesy of Cooper. There is also the opportunity to get a sneak preview of some of the new products being showcased on the Cooper Security truck. On the day, there are prizes for the longest drive and nearest the pin, with the winner and runner up from each event invited to Cooper Security’s Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire head offices for the tournament final, an evening meal and an overnight stay.

About Help for Heroes

Help for Heroes was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry in October 2007 out of a desire to help the wounded servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. The message of the charity: we are strictly non political and non critical; we simply want to help. We believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things and some of them are living with the consequences of their service for life. We may not be able to prevent our soldiers from being wounded, but together we can help them get better.
