by msecadm4921

Launched this month: Northamptonshire Police’s business crime reduction website.

The site, which can be accessed via www.northants.police.uk/biz_crime.asp then click on Community Safety and Business Crime, contains information to not only help prevent and reduce crimes, but also gives crime trends, news, events, partnership initiatives, and counter terrorism advice.

Northamptonshire Police’s Business Crime Reduction Manager, Sergeant Nikki Clarke, said: "Our business crime reduction website has been developed as a one-stop shop for businesses in and around Northamptonshire.

"We are committed to working with businesses through effective partnership working. And with the implementation of Safer Community Teams across the county, they too are working closely with partner agencies, local business amd local people to tackle crime and disorder to help make the county a stronger, safer an a more economically sustainable place to work."

The business crime reduction website is divided into sections including Crime Matters – a national database for business crime; Key Contact + – Northamptonshire Police’s nominated person call-out service; Crime Initiatives – details of retail crime initiatives and other schemes across the county; News, Warnings and Meetings, and Counter Terrorism.
