ClearView Communications report they have broadened their range of video de-multiplexing systems with the introduction of the Digitrac digital demultiplexer.
The Chelmsford-based firm says that the product will decode and display virtually all digital CCTV formats whatever media (DVD-R, +R, RAM, CD, ZIP, Compact Flash, DAT or others). Proprietary digital formats can be converted to composite video, AVI or DVD compliant files for viewing on standard replay systems, the firm says. Additional facilities include high speed video duplication onto CD or DVD with bit-for-bit verification, retrieval of deleted files, video and still image editing. The product, ClearView say, is in use by police forces in the UK and abroad and has applications for any agency needing to view a range of third party digital CCTV recordings.
