Dome Family

by msecadm4921

Vista has now released the VFDS range of fixed domes offering a range of functionalities united by the same look and feel across the entire family.

Available as 420, 504, 540 and 600 TV lines colour/monochrome options, the range features a colour killer function which removes all colour detail in low-light to provide cleaner monochrome images. All the domes feature an optically correct lower bubble which ensures quality images are captured, whilst an inner bubble liner provides discrete directional surveillance.

As is typical with Vista domes, the range has been designed to be quick and simple to install, the makers say. Each dome comes with a pre-wired 1m cable which is long enough to feed through brackets, ceilings and wall cavities. The three-axis gimble allows the choice of ceiling or wall mounting, whilst the choice of colour finish ensures the domes will fit in it’s claimed any aesthetic environment.

“The VFDS range offers installers a truly unified look whilst still meeting the different site-specific requirements at an installation,” says Mark Pritchard, Vista divisional director. “They’re so simple to install that they just need to be pointed in the right direction and connected to the relevant power and video cables.”
