by msecadm4921

The new Vista QuantumEvohf DVR range is now available, suitable the company says for the vast majority of CCTV applications.

The new range of QuantumEvohf four, eight and 16-channel DVRs offer H.264 evidential quality video recording 100 ips, with fully scalable recording providing programmable resolution per channel at CIF, 2CIF or D1.

Catering for systems integration and operation, the QuantumEvohf range now features coaxial FSK and multiprotocol RS485 telemetry control. The inclusion of FSK coaxial telemetry control allows the control of remote devices via a single coaxial cable. This allows QuantumEvohf DVRs to be used with most camera control systems; Vista coax telemetry, Vista, Pelco P and Pelco D RS485 protocols are supplied as standard.

Using the new iPhone or Android apps, remote connection to any number of Quantum H.264 machines (Evo or Plus), can be achieved. Camera selection and PTZ control is achieved via the use of touch screen arrows or by simply swiping the screen.

Mark Prichard, Vista’s divisional director, says: "The Vista QuantumEvohf has been designed to deliver fully-featured professional performance. With the addition of dual RS485 data ports, improved multisite remote monitoring software with QCMS, and increased storage capacity up to 4TB, this is one of our most flexible DVRs yet."
