IFSEC marks the UK launch of Bandit, a security fogging system.
The product works by obscuring valuables from sight thus protecting them from threat of theft. With its patented high pressure (200 p.s.i.) system, Bandit ejects a dense, visually impenetrable fog at high speed of six metres in the first two seconds alone, delivering 28 cubic metres per second, according to the firm. Within seconds of intruders being detected, Bandit will protect areas of up to 500 cubic metres with just one single ejection of fog. With its capability of multiple, successive firings the unit continues to protect valuables in the event of the intruder returning. The Bandit can be installed independently or incorporated to enhance an existing alarm system, the makers add.
