Institute Forum

by msecadm4921

The Security Institute has launch a consultative members forum.

The institute points to the uncertainty on the future of the SIA, the formation of the new Security Alliance and the future of regulation within the private security industry. The Security Institute adds that it has now established itself as a valued and integral member of the new Security Alliance and is determined to represent the views, hopes, comments and aspirations of its membership, through the Alliance, to the SIA.

Hence the Security Institute is launching a members forum where all grades of institute membership can have their say and express their views and hopes for the future of regulation, the SIA and our industry as a whole. Institute member Mike White has agreed to act as chairman for the forum and he will ensure that the views of the membership are reported back to the institute board.

The launch of the new forum will be on January 19, at 6pm at Westminster City Hall. Institute members are invited to attend when Mike and Institute Chairman Mike Bluestone will answer questions and brief members on developments so far. Please confirm attendance directly to Mike White by e-mail to [email protected] by no later than 5pm on January 17 so refreshment arrangements to be confirmed.

Any members unable to attend but wishing to make a comment or raise a matter for discussion can also contact Mike directly. Dates for subsequent forum meetings will be announced shortly.
