Jaguar Cars Limited have appointed GMS Security Services Ltd to provide manned guarding services, for the second year, at their manufacturing plants in the West Midlands and at the Jaguar Design and Development Centre at Whitley.
GMS provide security for Land Rover at its Solihull sites and have also recently been awarded the guarding contract for their new vehicle compounds at the Halewood plant on Merseyside. A spokesman for GMS said that they were delighted to have been re-appointed after having won a hard fought tendering process last year: “This represents a substantial increase in our work for Fords Premier Automotive Group (PAG) and is due to the efforts of our staff at every level, who have delivered a high quality of service throughout.”
