Kidde At Gatwick

by msecadm4921

Kidde Fire Protection Services, provider of fire extinguishing and alarm systems, reports a new range of CCTV and communications equipment at its centre in Gatwick.

Working with its clients throughout the workplace security project lifecycle, Kidde Fire Protection Services claims that it helps them to determine best CCTV design, taking into consideration the area and the degree of surveillance required, illumination to determine which camera to use and camera location. Mounting type, the position of the control room and the distance to the cameras are considered for wiring arrangements and positioning of monitors and digital recorders. Kidde’s camera range is suitable for all requirements, the firm claims, including deterrence, security, general observation, personnel management, recognition or identification.

Access control is the fastest growing sector of the entire security industry, according to the firm, with installations in almost all new buildings, upgrades to existing systems at all levels, and with many organisations investing in access control for the first time. Kidde says it can give advice about how access control priorities change in the event of a fire alert, with the key issue changing from regulating who enters the building or area to ensuring that everyone who is in the building or area has free exit.

Ceri Dunbar, manager of the Kidde Fire Protection Services’ Gatwick branch, says: "We provide a true ‘one stop shop’ for workplace security, delivered by highly qualified experts in this field."
