Building on the BS 5 and 7 lever 20mm mortice locks launch, Chubb has extended its range of high security locking solutions with the new 20mm U series BS 5 lever mortice lock range, featuring deadlock and sashlock variants. The important design feature of the new upgrader range is the 20mm deadbolt, which provides increased resistance against a forced jemmy attack, as well as exceeding BS3621:1998. As a name synonymous with the best in security and recognised as the industry standard for mortice locks, these latest products will strengthen Chubb?s position as the high security leader in a very competitive market. Compatibility with industry standard locks makes the upgrade of premises to a higher level of security straightforward and cost effective. The new 20mm U series gives customers the choice of upgrading from 3 lever to 5 lever BS locks and from 14mm to higher 20mm deadbolt security. Both products are available in brass or satin finishes in 67/80mm case sizes.
