In support of West Mercia Police’s ‘Love Your Community’ Week – which runs from Monday 14 February until Friday 18 February – West Mercia Police Officer Marvin Choudhury has organised a property marking event, in Telford Shopping Centre on Saturday 12 February.
The event will see Local Policing staff – including a number of Community Support Officers (CSOs) – from across Central Telford set up a stand in Dean Square in the shopping centre from 9am onwards. They will be on hand throughout the day to demonstrate property marking services and other ways that you can protect your homes and property.
Speaking about this event, PC Choudhury said: "We will have CSOs on this stand all day and I would encourage people in the shopping centre on Saturday to pop to Dean Square and say hello. There will be lots of useful information for people to take away with them and we’ll also have property marking equipment with us on the day.
"If you have a phone, MP3 player or anything else you’d like to get security marked by us, please pop to the stand and we’ll do that for you. We’ll also be able to advise you about where you can get your own property marking equipment from so that you can go home and protect other expensive items that you own too."
