London-based Senator Security has acquired Welsh manned guarding and keyholding firm Fraser Security.
The new company will continue to trade under Fraser Security Services. Andrew Glass, managing director of Senator, will be chief executive, while Jane Fraser MBE, a former chairman of the BSIA Manned Security Section, will be commercial director. Senator, which specialises in CCTV remote monitoring, Data Protection compliance and access control systems, has centres in London and Southampton with a new office opening in Liverpool shortly. The new company will have more than 600 staff nationwide and clients including Legal & General, HSBC, The Welcome Trust, Southampton University, P&O and Unilever. Andrew Glass said: “Fraser Security is an invaluable addition to the Senator Security Group and I?ve seen the company grow in stature over recent years. Soon we will be investing heavily into the Group and plan to launch a new telephone answering, monitoring and on-line service to complement our existing range of services.”
