Shop Tag

Forget trailing wires and expensive CCTV says product firm Unisto.

It reports that its Brandlock security tag uses the latest EAS technologies to offer a solution that is image-enhancing and allows high value objects to be put on open display without intrusive and potentially off-putting security, it claims.

Suitable, it is claimed, where small numbers of staff are responsible for monitoring large floor areas such as garden centres or in small spaces where there is a lot of through traffic such as gift shops, the device is discreet, according to the makers. A tag that can be colour-matched and embossed with company logos offers a point of sale presence and encourages browsing, while a 2mm cable that can only be removed with wire cutters ensures the tag remains in place to prevent opportunistic theft.

The re-usable Brandlock tag offers an option for bulky items, the makers add. Suitable for most entrance detection systems, the product works with AM, EM or RF technologies.
