PAC International has launched a new fully voidable version of KeyPAC Solo, its stand-alone electronic solution to managing access through single doors. KeyPAC Solo combines an electronic door controller and reader in one unit for single door monitoring. Offering proximity (contact-less) access control, the latest version comes with shadow cards for easier deletion of individual ID devices from the system. Margaret Kelsall, PAC?s Marketing Manager, says: ?It is ideal for restricting access in many situations such as IT suites in schools, stockrooms or staff-only areas in shops, reception areas in health centres, stationery or wages departments or offices in multi-occupancy buildings to name but a few.? The product can accommodate up to 2,000 users and offers a typical reading range of up to 200mm. Each new starter pack comprises a choice of three KeyPAC Solo reader/controller models ? Universal, Vandal Resistant or Standard, ten new-shape KeyPAC tokens or KeyPAC ISO cards (KeyPAC Solo is only compatible with the new KeyPAC tokens and cards), two master KeyPAC cards for programming and 10 shadow cards. The KeyPAC Solo Universal model available in black or white has been designed with a ultra-curve ABS housing to blend seamlessly with modern architecture.
