BlackSpider Technologies, an email security services company, has signed a partnership agreement with Netstore, a provider of outsourcing services.

Under the agreement, Netstore will offer its customers the BlackSpider MailControl suite of managed services that protect businesses against the threat of spam and email-borne viruses.

Netstore delivers a range of managed services including Internet security and IT infrastructure to its customers to local authority and finance, banking, insurance and legal sectors.  Its portfolio of security solutions comprises firewalls, virus protection, secure VPNs, and intrusion detection. Netstore adds it has nearly 300 business customers in the UK and, through its partners, provides their customers with services in more than 30 countries worldwide.

What they say

Tom Salkield, Vice President of Security Services, Netstore, commented on the partnership: "BlackSpider’s managed email security service brings real value to businesses currently struggling to address the challenges of spam, viruses and inappropriate content being distributed by email. Our strategy is to provide progressive outsourced services to our customers.  BlackSpider complements our existing managed security services, which focus on mobility, firewall protection and vulnerability assessment."

John Cheney, CEO, BlackSpider Technolgies, says: "A managed security service is the easiest and most efficient way for service providers to offer their customers protection against the latest spam, virus and content threats. We are extremely pleased that Netstore shares our vision of delivering email security and chose us to bring the great benefits of a managed service to their customers."
