Suffolk Police Authority is hosting its Annual Business Crime Forum on Tuesday, November 2, at Suffolk Constabulary Headquarters, Martlesham.
The Forum provides local businesses with the chance to discuss key crime matters and to put questions to the Chief Constable.
Areas for discussion will include:
· What are the key crime issues for local businesses?
· What is stopping more local businesses from becoming involved in local policing?
· How can the police help business owners, their colleagues and employees feel safer?
· 2012 Olympics – a great opportunity for businesses or for criminals?
· An update from the Chief Constable on current business crime issues, the impact of future public sector spending cuts and feedback from last year.
The purpose: to enable the business community to engage with police in effective discussions about the priorities for policing around business crime issues, and how these can be addressed through a partnership approach.
The event is run with Suffolk Police Authority, Suffolk Constabulary, Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Small Businesses, Ipswich and Suffolk Small Business Association and the National Farmers Union.
The forum is free to attend and will run from 5pm to about 8.15pm. To book online visit www.suffolkchamber.co.uk or call 01473 694805.
