Edinburgh is the venue for the annual conference of the Association of University Chief Security Officers – AUCSO.
Among the topics bweteen April 2 and 4 are health and safety, vetting, the police in university group PAHELO, by Sgt Emma Thomson, of West Midlands Police; and training, by AUCSO man Mike McCormack, of the University of East Anglia. Bill Fox of conflict management trainers Maybo will speak on physical intervention.
Bernadette Duncan of City University London and Lucy Easthope will give an update on the Hefce emergency management training project, featured in Professional Security. George Blanchflower, AUCSO chairman, will welcome exhibitors and members.
