Creation manager

by Mark Rowe

Wavestore has added to its sales team with the appointment of Iain Cundy as Business Creation Manager.

Iain, pictured, for the last two years has been Demand Creation Manager for Panasonic and he was previously the Sales Manager for JVC. Ian will be working with installers and system integrators to identify new business opportunities for Wavestore’s open platform VMS.

Chris Williams, Director of Wavestore, said: “Iain has a proven track record of identifying opportunities for new and emerging technologies and then taking the lead in the design of customised solutions for clients. It is exactly this type of expertise which Wavestore needs in order to provide the best possible support to our business partners by fulfilling their requirements with our IP VMS and analytic solutions.”

Iain said: “I am very excited about the opportunity to contribute to Wavestore’s ongoing success. The open platform philosophy incorporated into the Wavestore VMS and its metadata automation feature means that we are able to support most applications of video analytics, including intruder detection, abandoned objects, license plate recognition, people counting, perimeter security detection, traffic monitoring and biometrics such as facial recognition. The Wavestore VMS offers much more, but I strongly believe that the ability to offer integrated video analytics in all its various forms provides Wavestore with a powerful competitive edge.”
