The distributor CCTVdirect has added two MINI pan and tilt cameras (PTZs) to their range of UNV IP Cameras. The first of these PTZs is a 2MP IP66 Mini PTZ which comes with human body detection.
This sought-after feature has been designed to send push notifications whenever a person appears in the camera’s field of view, as a way to eliminate false alarms, and alert operators at the right moments. The product also has two-way audio using the microphone and speaker. The mini PTZ boasts Lighthunter technology which allows for colour images in the lowest of light conditions, 4x optical zoom & 50M SMART IR.
Also released is an Active Deterrence mini PTZ which builds on these features, with a red and blue strobe light at the top of the unit. That device is for alerting intruders if they’re in a restricted area with white light to support footage quality and can also give an audible warning to support the strobe warning.
