by Mark Rowe

EEMA, the European association for e-identity and security announced Ascertia, an e-security product company, as its newest member organisation.

Solutions Director at Ascertia, Rod Crook says: “EEMA’s leadership and focus on driving discussion of relevant European identity and security issues perfectly aligns with Ascertia’s objectives. Our high-trust products make it easy for any business application to leverage digital identities for user authentication and create digital signatures to show approval and ensure data protection. This includes long-term verification, stringent regulatory adherence and enables compliance with European regulations and directives.” He concludes: “We look forward to working with EEMA to communicate the regulatory and business requirements and raise awareness of solutions available that enable organisations to meet their security responsibilities.”

Chairman of EEMA, Jon Shamah adds: “We are delighted to welcome Ascertia to EEMA. Through membership we are able to provide organisations with unparalleled access to and participation with, the people and projects in the public and private sector, that are shaping e-identity and security throughout Europe.”

The next EEMA event is in London on Tuesday, February 23, when Atos will host its next ‘High Level Fireside Briefing’ – titled ‘Cyber Warfare – the softer targets – public, private and civilian casualties’.
