Emprise MBO

The management team of Emprise Services Holdings Limited, a support services provider, have acquired the Emprise group from its shareholders with the support of LDC and RBS.

Emprise describes itself as a mid-market support services provider specialising in cleaning and security. Emprise has a turnover of about £75m and employs about 5,000 people to deliver integrated support services to clients on a national basis.

The management team includes Mark Beadle (CEO), Howard Sharp (finance director), Mark Langworthy (managing director for security), Matt Kuwertz (director of sales and marketing) and Bridget Hodgson (director of human resources). Stephen Barrett, who founded the business some 28 years ago, will continue as a non-executive director. LDC will continue as a minority shareholder. Bank funding has been provided by RBS.

Mark Beadle, pictured, Emprise’s chief executive, said: “This is a very exciting time for the business. We have assembled a great management team and we are delighted to be driving together the group’s next phase of growth.”
