VSG, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, is hailing its six winners out of 15 at the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) national Security Personnel Awards 2013.

The BSIA’s Security Personnel Awards recognise security personnel. The awards, now in their fifteenth year, were presented by Commander Steve Rodhouse, Commander for Gang and Organised Crime for the Metropolitan Police, at the Association’s exclusive annual lunch at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Tuesday, July 16. With the highest number of awards given to any security firm for the second year running, VSG’s people were recognised with two awards for Best Use of Technology, two for Best Team and prizes for Best Newcomer and Outstanding Act.

Steve Davies, Managing Director of Support Services at Compass Group UK & Ireland, said: “It’s a huge honour that so many of our brilliant people have been rewarded with BSIA Awards this year. We’re extremely proud of the outstanding work our VSG officers and teams do in the course of their day to day duties and it’s great to see these first-class performances recognised in this way.”
