Dahua Certified Partner Training

by Mark Rowe

Choosing the right product for a project can be daunting, as there are so many different technologies on the market. Oprema, the UK multi-brand distributor of security equipment and Dahua distributor, provides a full day Dahua Certified Partner Training Program.

Aimed at installers, it’s for them to select the correct product line for a project and teach how to correctly install, configure and commission professional installations.

After completion of the course – which blends hands on experience with theory – attendees become a certified Dahua partner, which entitles them to additional benefits as well as eligibility to advanced replacement on product for the lifetime of the warranty.

Matthew Epps, Managing Director at Oprema, says: “Unlike some distributors, we don’t just shift boxes. We are serious about offering extra value to installers, so as well as our customers being able to tap into our technical team’s expert knowledge whenever required, we also provide regular certified Dahua and Milestone training courses to help equip installers with their own knowledge.”

Oprema’s Milestone XProtect Professional Certification training day is designed to give attendees confidence in, and an understanding of the fundamentals of IP using Milestone XProtect video management software, guiding them through the transition to using IP and HD over coax products. Geared towards small to medium sized IP CCTV applications, delegates come away with the knowledge and experience needed to gain official certification from Milestone.

Epps adds: “Installers have limited time, as they are always busy on-site, so we have to ensure that our training courses deliver real value for them. Despite time pressures, we’ve noticed that more and more of our customers are recognising the importance and value of undertaking specialist training, especially courses that are certified. Not only does training provide you with the knowledge and confidence needed to install in this new and exciting age for our industry, but becoming a certified partner of well-known and respected brands such as Dahua and Milestone boosts your reputation for professionally delivering quality solutions for end users, which gives you the edge over your competitors.”

Many of Oprema’s other key partners such as Comelit, Galaxy, Paxton and Videx also carry out regular training sessions at Oprema head office in Cardiff, and bespoke training options are also available, the distributor adds.
