Bosch at IFSEC 2016

by Mark Rowe

Bosch Security Systems will showcase Video, Intrusion, Communication and Fire solutions in the South hall on stand F700 during this year’s IFSEC International in London, from June 21 to 23.

The Bosch Video Management System offers integration with selected third-party cameras as well as other hardware and software. BVMS 6.5 adds intelligence for applications requiring database matching. Analytics such as automatic license plate recognition help security operators and security managers make decisions, using a single software interface. Bosch VMS 6.5 also complements Bosch’s camera-based intelligent video analytics with industry-specific functionalities.

PAVIRO the Public Address and Voice Evacuation product is described as a solution for small- to medium-sized installations, including office buildings, regional airports, hotels, factories, schools and department stores.

The video-based fire detection AVIOTEC is a new solution for fire detection. Building upon proven Bosch cameras and the firm’s Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA), AVIOTEC can supplement fire detection technologies and enables detection of smoke and flames at buildings with high ceilings or dusty and humid areas, for example saw mills or paper factories, hangars or large monitoring areas.

With the Commercial Series family of motion detectors, pictured, Bosch expands its portfolio of wall-mount motion detectors, which already includes Blue Line Gen2 for residential and small commercial applications and the Professional Series for midsized to large commercial sites.

Cloud-based Monitoring Services now releases a new video operation page.

The Bosch Building Integration System is software that manages security subsystems like access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire detection, and public address systems on one platform. BIS offers a “tool box” to allow integration with third party applications via open standards and SDK (Software Development Kit).
