Milton Keynes club protected

by Mark Rowe

When the Milton Keynes Wanderers FC took over at Kings Hill four years ago it inherited the responsibility from the local council for the site. But after two years, the community football club suffered a costly break-in, putting a strain on its resources.

As one of the club’s key aims is to provide a safe and secure environment for its members at all times, the management decided on a robust new security system. They needed a solution that would combine fault-free and gave anti-intrusion detection. They chose UTC Fire & Security. Fitted was UTCFS’s new ATS Advisor Advanced intrusion detection platform.

The latest Advisor Advanced range of products has evolved from the long-established Advisor CD and Advisor Master ranges. The Advisor Advanced range brings together assets from both these families and combines them. At the MK Wanderers FC UTC Fire & Security’s VE motion detectors are now deployed throughout the site and connected to the ATS Advisor Advanced intrusion panel.

With the door contacts, this security solution means that thieves can no longer enter the MK Wanderers FC premises without being immediately detected.
