Risk Mapping

by msecadm4921

G4S Security Services (UK) has signed an agreement to use CAP Index’s CRIMECAST system in the UK.

It’s an internet-based product for assessing crime vulnerability and site-specific risk mapping. It enables real-time analysis and comparison between the risk profile and crime vulnerabilities of any UK address. A business can then make site selection and risk management decisions, improving bottom-line security, it is claimed. The system can generate reports to quantify a site’s crime risk. CRIMECAST tracks and analyses this risk over time, helping clients determine appropriate security measures, it is claimed. G4S Security Services (UK) reports that the product will allow clients to manage their business risks by receiving a security service tailored to their needs.

What they say

Douglas Greenwell, Sales & Marketing Director of G4S Security Services (UK) said: “G4S Security Services (UK)’s partnership with CAP Index will allow us to offer a unique security package to our clients. By giving us unparalleled insight into the site specific needs of each client we can tailor the service we offer. This deal signifies our commitment to providing the most effective security solutions and our ongoing mission to provide the most up-to-date and fully comprehensive service.”

Jon Groussman, President and COO of CAP Index added: “We are extremely pleased to have signed this agreement with an international security leader of G4S Security Services (UK)’s calibre. Our risk analysis work in the UK is gaining considerable recognition, and the expert crime forecasting abilities of our CRIMECAST system will ensure an impressive product offering to G4S customers.” G4S Security Services (UK) showcased the CRIMECAST product at IFSEC 2006.
