Security Excellence Awards , organised by UBM Live, announced the finalists for 2013. The finals ceremony will run at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane on October 23. Finalists are for the following categories:

· Event Security Team of the Year
· International Achievement Award
· Large Security Installer of the Year
· Security Guarding Company of the Year
· Security Consultant of the Year
· Security Manager of the Year
· Security Partnering Initiative of the Year
· Security Training Initiative of the Year
· Small to Medium Security Installer of the Year
· Systems Integrator of the Year

Judges comprised of leading names from the security industry, including: Alex Carmichael (technical director at the British Security Industry Association), Emma Shaw (Chairman of the Security Institute), Don Randall MBE (head of security, Bank of England and chairman, City of London Crime Prevention Association), Jeff Little OBE (CEO of the National Security Inspectorate) and Richard Childs (Managing Director, ACPO Crime Prevention Initiatives).
