Video wall display

by Mark Rowe

eyevis UK video wall controllers and processors have been selected by the audiovisual services company RTS for a project for a public sector client in central London. RTS were engaged for the design and installation of the new video wall as part of a building upgrade to modernise a security control room within the customer building.

RTS distributed multiple HD CCTV images, IPTV and local video using a dedicated eyevis Netpix videowall processor. eyevis says that its Netpix allows for customisation of video display arrangements when using the custom API with an AMX Control processor. Video from the eyevis Netpix was distributed to a 3×2, narrow bezel display array, using Extron HDBaseT extenders.

The installer says that the client training was minimised as the system was intuitive enough with the system integrating with a user friendly AMX touch-panel design.

RTS has been supplying audiovisual services, equipment and support to both public and private sector clients from our central London office since 1996.

eyevis say that their Netpix range is capable of combining individual outputs into a coherent video wall display, which can be used to present network data as well as video and graphics sources.

eyevis UK managing director Steve Murphy, pictured, said: “eyevis’ graphics controllers from the Netpix Series are especially designed for the sophisticated control of videowall systems in control rooms. The controllers are customised devices according to the requirements of the system in hand. The customer may choose from a range of input cards providing connectivity for almost any signal type and Netpix controllers guarantee cutting-edge performance and reliability for 24/7 operation.” Visit www.eyevis.co.uk.
